(c) Total coliform MCLs: No more than 5% of the monthly samples may be total coliform positive. Fecal coliform MCLs: A routine sample and a repeat sample are total coliform positive, and one of these is also fecal coliform or E. coli positive. Sweetwater Authority did not violate either MCL in 2001. Results are based on the distribution system's highest monthly percent positives. Compliance is based on the monthly combined distribution system sampling from all treatment facilities. 1,872 samples were analyzed in 2001.
