LEARN ABOUT WATER OCTOBER 11

General Manager Dennis Bostad will speak about Sweetwater Authority Saturday, October 11 at a Chula Vista Friends of the Library program. The presentation will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Chula Vista Civic Center Library Auditorium at 365 F Street, Chula Vista.

The public is invited. Bostad will provide general information about Sweetwater Authority and its water supplies, and will also discuss potential new water sources and water conservation.

“This will be enjoyable education, as relevant as it gets,” said Friends’ Program Chair David Johnson. “If you have ever marveled at our well-watered lifestyle, you will definitely want to join us on the 11th.”

Sweetwater Authority provides public water service to 176,000 residents of Chula Vista, National City and Bonita. The agency owns and operates Sweetwater and Loveland Reservoirs, ground water wells and a brackish water demineralization (desalination) plant.
