Calling all Super (Water) Savers!
Sweetwater Authority is looking for residential and commercial customers who are water conservation all-stars and want to share their success story. Nominate your friends, neighbors, employer, or even yourself! Tell us in 200 words or less, and include information on creative ways that you are saving water. Super Saver form

Ask us about receiving a free Home Energy & Water Savings Kit: Save energy, save money, and help the environment with a no-cost kit that includes a low-flow showerhead. (Partner program with San Diego Gas & Electric) Call 619-420-1413 and ask for Conservation.

What water-smart rebates are currently available? The San Diego County Water Authority and its member agencies participate in SoCal Water$mart, a region-wide program operated by the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWD). The program offers rebates for water-efficient purchases for single-family properties. Funding is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Residential & Multi-Family Rebate Flyer

The San Diego County Water Authority is asking that everyone do their part in conserving 20 gallons of water per day. What that means to you is about a ten percent reduction in water use. More.

Visit the Water Conservation Garden of Cuyamaca College. Learn how to save water with native plants, efficient gardening practices and irrigation techniques. The Garden is located in Rancho San Diego (within the Sweetwater River watershed). More.

What is graywater? Graywater is untreated wastewater that has not been contaminated by toilet discharges. Discarded water from bathroom sinks, showers, clothes washing machines, laundry basins are sources of graywater. Graywater does not include kitchen sinks or dishwashers.
