The San Diego County Water Authority is asking that everyone do their part in conserving 20 gallons of water per day. What that means to you is about a ten percent reduction in water use. More.

How can I save water in my home? Sweetwater Authority customers are encouraged to replace old appliances and fixtures with water-saving equipment. Clothes washers which use up to 50 gallons per load can be replaced with new high efficiency models which use as little as 8 gallons of water per load. Vouchers of $175 are available to assist with these purchases as well by calling 800-986-4538.

Sweetwater Authority’s business and commercial customers are encouraged to replace old appliances and fixtures with water-saving equipment. Sweetwater offers incentives to assist with the purchase of a variety of water efficient devices. For more information click here.
