Customers have reported phone solicitations and advertisements left on their doors for “county wide water testing” or water bill collections. Sweetwater Authority (Authority) does not ask to enter homes to test water without prior notice. A Sweetwater Authority representative will not come to your home asking for bill payment and will never collect money in the field. If a bill is past due, you will receive notifications in the mail.

Authority personnel are always identified by a marked car and photo identification. Please, take care when approached by anyone claiming to be from Sweetwater Authority or any other water provider, wishing entry to your home.

The water delivered to your home by the Authority meets or exceeds all state and federal water quality criteria.
