[ARCHIVED] SWA Offering Free Admission for Customers to The Garden

The Garden Free Admission for Customers Promotion

Sweetwater Authority (Authority) customers are eligible for free admission to the Water Conservation Garden (Garden). An insert is being mailed in customers’ bills (including electronic bills) beginning Friday, November 20.  Customers can take the insert with them and receive free admission to the Garden through April 4, 2021.

The Garden has nearly six acres of displays that showcase water conservation through a series of beautiful themed gardens, such as a native plant garden and a vegetable garden, as well as how-to displays such as mulch and irrigation exhibits. The Authority is a member of the Garden’s Joint Powers Authority.

“The Authority’s Board recognizes that customers in our service area are looking for safe outdoor activities during the pandemic. The Garden provides a safe and serene setting for family members of all ages, and an opportunity to learn more about water efficiency and conservation,” said Board Chair Steve Castaneda.

The Garden, considered an outdoor museum, is currently open for business.  For information and the Garden’s hours of operations, classes, and event schedule visit www.thegarden.org
