[ARCHIVED] Notice of intention to amend the Conflict of Interest Code

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the SWEETWATER AUTHORITY (the “Authority”) intends to amend the Authority’s Conflict of Interest Code (the “Code”) pursuant to Government Code Section 87306.

A conflict of interest code designates those employees, members, officers, and consultants who make or participate in the making of decisions and are subject to the disclosure requirements of the Authority’s Code. The Authority’s proposed amendment includes new positions which must be designated, revises the title of existing positions and deletes titles of positions that no longer exist.

The proposed amended Code will be considered by the Governing Board on September 28, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at the Sweetwater Authority, 505 Garrett Avenue, Chula Vista, California. Any interested person may be present and comment at the public meeting or may submit written comments concerning the proposed amendment. Any comments or inquiries should be directed to the attention of Ligia Hoffman, Board Secretary/Administrative Assistant, Sweetwater Authority, 505 Garret Avenue, Chula Vista, CA 91910; (619) 420-1413. Written comments must be submitted no later than September 28, 2022, at 6:00 p.m.

The proposed amended Code, and the information on which the amendments are based may be reviewed at 505 Garrett Avenue, Chula Vista, CA 91910, and copies may be obtained from the office of the Board Secretary/Administrative Assistant during regular business hours.
