The Sweetwater Authority (Authority) Governing Board is seeking interested community members to serve on its Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC). The CAC offers citizen involvement in advising the agency on ways it can improve its operational efficiency.
The CAC includes seven members and alternatives, with each being a ratepayer of the nominating Director’s represented division. Those interested in serving are encouraged to fill out an interest form at www.sweetwater.org/cacinterestform.
“The CAC is an excellent opportunity for people interested in water to get involved and provide input on the issues that matter most to them,” said Board Chair Alejandra Sotelo-Solis. “The Authority values transparency in its operations, and this committee is an example of how we work with our ratepayers to ensure we’re serving our customers as efficiently as possible.”
The CAC was established by the Authority’s Governing Board on April 10, 2019 in an effort to achieve the Authority’s Strategic Plan goal to provide high-quality customer service based on customer feedback and serve the community through education, outreach, and partnerships.
