The regional WaterSmart Landscape Contest is held every year by numerous water agencies in the San Diego region. The contest celebrates the beauty of water-efficient landscapes.
The winners of Sweetwater Authority’s 2017 WaterSmart Landscape Contest are JR and Janine Nacar of Chula Vista. Through smart planning and hard work, the Nacars transformed their yard into an awe-inspiring water-efficient landscape.
The Nacars were honored at a ceremony at The Water Conservation Garden in May 2017 and at a Sweetwater Authority Board Meeting in June 2017.
