[ARCHIVED] Water service will continue for all customers; water is safe to drink

Sweetwater Authority understands that water is crucial in the fight against the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). In order to make sure everyone can practice proper handwashing, we are suspending water shut offs for failure to pay until further notice.

We are closely monitoring the coronavirus and associated impacts on our community. We want to assure our customers that water quality and water service remain unaffected by COVID-19. All customers can continue to use and drink water from their tap as usual.

For more information, visit the EPA’s Coronavirus and Drinking Water and Wastewater website or give call us at 619-420-1413.
