Board Meetings

Meetings of the Governing Board are held at Sweetwater Authority's Administrative Offices located at 505 Garrett Avenue, Chula Vista, CA 91910.

Meetings are open to the public, and agendas are posted the Friday prior to each scheduled meeting.

  • 4th Wednesday of every month at 5 pm

Duties & Responsibilities

The Sweetwater Authority Governing Board, or Board of Directors, is composed of seven members. Five directors are elected by division by the citizens of the South Bay Water (SBW). Two directors are appointed by the Mayor of National City, subject to City Council confirmation. The Governing Board establishes policies and procedures for Sweetwater Authority operations.
