Rates
Water is charged per unit, with each unit equivalent to 100 cubic feet (HCF). The total number of units used during each billing cycle determines the water rates charged per unit.
Calculating Your Bill
Your Sweetwater Authority bill is comprised of multiple charges, including a Water Charge, a Meter Charge and San Diego County Water Authority (CWA) Pass Through Charge. The Water Charge reflects the amount of water used at your property during the billing period. The Meter Charge is calculated based on the billing property's meter size. The CWA Pass Through Charge helps collect revenue for certain CWA costs.
