Public Education and Outreach
In December 2024, Sweetwater Authority launched a comprehensive PFAS education campaign designed to share information with customers transparently. This included a series of public workshops and meetings focused on PFAS education.

- Future Meetings: Additional meetings will be held throughout 2025 as testing continues. Updates about these meetings will be available on the PFAS education page. You can also attend the monthly Community Advisory Working Group (CAWG) meetings on the last Tuesday of each month, where various topics, including PFAS, are discussed.
Other ways to get involved
- Advocate for action against PFAS manufacturers.
- Share your support: Email us at PFAS@sweetwater.org stating your support for protecting our water supply by taking action against the companies that caused the PFAS that contaminated our water. This information will be shared with local, state, and federal policy makers.
